In order to test the performance of this WP Theme, I first installed it on my test server and then imported its default content. After installing this design on my test website, it asked me to install a few essential plugins. I installed all those plugins, and additionally, I installed a few frequently used extensions like Yoast SEO, Google XML sitemap, Akismet, contact form 7, and autoptimize.
In order to measure the performance grade, I used tools.pingdom.com. In this page speed test tool, I chose New York City as the default test location.
Now, based on my test results, I can say that this theme is definitely optimized for speed.
As you can see in the image attached above, Karma received a performance grade of 96/100. 96 is a Google Page Speed score, and trust me; it’s a great score. You have to also consider the fact that I didn’t optimize the image, nor did I use any lazy load.
Furthermore, the total page load time was 1.01 seconds, and the total page size was 1.1 MB. In total, 68 HTTP requests were made to my stress server in order to completely fetch my test website.
